Nothing beats the thrill of cheering your horse home at the races. The excitement of seeing the horse you love and have watched develop through their training, compete in a NH race is second to none, and we’d like you to join us in the excitement.

Mark Bradstock was a dedicated and talented Cheltenham Gold Cup winning trainer who loved sharing his love of race horses and racing. He enjoying nothing more than giving his owners the benefit of his knowledge of horses, training and racing. Having worked alongside Mark for over 20 years, sharing in his passion and expertise, Sara Bradstock is keeping Mark’s legacy alive by making racing more accessible through The Mark Bradstock Racing Club.

Join the club and become an owner of ‘Kalypso His’, our first club horse.  Share the excitement of visiting him in the yard, watching him exercise on the gallops and have the opportunity to join the team in the paddock at the races as his owner, and you never know, you might join him in the winners enclosure!

More about ‘Kalypso His’ (Kal to his friends)

This promising French-bred gelding born in 2020 is out of Areef and sired by a new stallion, Chemical Charge, a Grade 1 race winner.

His dam, Areef, was a winner in France, and is half sister to an excellent Group winning flat horse called Silver Touch.

Chemical Charge is by See the Stars, winner of 6 consecutive Grade 1 flat races in 6 months including the 2,000 guineas, The Derby and the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe.

This athletic and talented four-year-old with a black type pedigree, has found everything Sara has asked of him incredibly easy, and will be ready to race in the 2024-25 National Hunt season as soon as we get his new owners on-board. Take a look at him here:

How Does the Racing Club Work?

As a member of our Racing Club you’ll be one of a small number of owners of our first horse, ‘Kalypso His’. We will limit the number of owners of each horse in order to offer a more exclusive opportunity with significant benefits for each owner. This means you will get greater access to the special owners’ days at the yard and on the gallops, frequent opportunities to join the team at the races as Kal’s owner and a greater share of any winnings.

As Kal’s owner you’ll get to know him, receive regular updates from Sara on his progress in training, and be kept in the loop on plans to race him. You’ll be invited to every race he enters and, if over-subscribed, there will be a ballot for an Owners’ Badge. However, you will be treated as his owner with or without a badge by Sara and the team, and with fewer owners, you’ll get an Owners Badge far more frequently than in larger racing clubs.

In return, you’ll pay an annual fee, and you can choose whether or not to continue at the beginning of each year of membership.  To be part of Kal’s journey and enter the amazing world of NH racing, enquire today!
